WHAT: Help MALT continue our work to remove invasive species from Otter View Park! The primary targets are garlic mustard and (very limited) poison parsnip. You are welcome to stay for as much of the event as you can, any helping hands are appreciated! Poison parsnip can give you a rash if it comes into contact with the skin, but we will have the proper tools and work gloves to loan out if you don’t have a pair of your own. We have been managing these species for many years at this location, and want to continue our progress toward eradication! CANCELLATION POLICY: MALT operates programs outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If weather conditions are hazardous (lightning, sustained winds >30m.p.h.), MALT may cancel the program. If that is the case, you will receive notification via email.
